First Full Week  of School 

and we are back on a schedule!  

It was a slow start in the beginning of the week

but now we are in full motion and I never thought I would say this but it is 

FABULOUS!

And with a new school year we have been building a new wardrobe....

2 lemons

Cherries to top it all off

2 cups pink lemonade

1 cup vodka

1/2 cup simple syrup

Directions: Combine the juice of 2 lemons, the lemonade, vodka and simple syrup in a blender, and blend on high for 30 seconds. Stop the blender, and add 3 cups of ice, puree until smooth. Pour into a highball glass, and top with a cherry. Serves 4.

September 11th Sky

I have been watching several 

September 11th specials the past few days 

and many people remark on what a beautiful day it was.

One air traffic controller said when 

he sees a perfect blue sky - 

he says to himself

"that is a September 11th sky".....

I lived in Manhattan at the time of the attacks 

and it still does not seem real to me - 

but there is one thing I will always remember and that is 

WE WILL NEVER FORGET

door step Saturday and I could not get over Robert Duffy's 

Greenwich Village Townhouse. 

 Duffy, the president of Marc Jacobs, and

 his designer Richard McGeehan had two months to pull it together...
